Charades is a fun and engaging game for the whole family. It also can be used to help develop student’s oral English language and vocabulary skills. And with Pingu it’s even more fun! No other equipment is required apart from the Pingu’s English flashcards. If you don’t have them at home, you can make your own to play charades with.
To start, remove all the character cards from the Pingu’s English flashcards box.
Each member of the group should take one of the Pingu’s English flashcards from the set and act out the character. They can choose activities that the characters normally do in the episodes. For example, Daddy working in the workshop or Grandpa is making pottery. Depending of the level of English of your child, they can act out the character. Or for children who have greater English language abilities, they can provide an action in addition to the character.
‘Pingu is sleeping.’
‘Grandpa is making pottery.
‘Pingu is studying.’
