Building on a growing presence across ASEAN, the global Pingu’s English franchise continues its success with a high-profile launch of a brand new Pingu’s English kindergarten in Johor Bahur in Malaysia.
Led by Ms Nawar Mani Ramachandran, Pingu’s English Master Licensee for Malaysia, the team already has a strong presence with over 12 Pingu’s English schools across the country.
Following on from this success, Pingu’s English Malaysia has now opened their first dedicated Pingu’s English international kindergarten. The innovative three-year full-time curriculum
that is delivered in all Pingu’s English kindergartens, was developed by the UK-based Linguaphone Group in partnership with Kingston University, experts in teacher training and early years development. With a play-based methodology, child-orientated learning and strong learning outcomes, Pingu’s English students not only develop their confidence in the English language, but maths, arts and crafts and IT skills too. Pingu’s English also effectively prepares them for formal education too.
Derek Price, Chief Executive Officer with the Linguaphone Group attended the launch to both open the Pingu’s English Johor Bahur kindergarten and help celebrate the continued success of the Pingu’s English Malaysia team. Speaking at the launch, Derek Price said:
“Pingu’s English already has an enviable reputation in early years development, having trained over a quarter of a million students in over 200 branded Pingu’s English schools worldwide. I am therefore delighted to launch our fantastic new international kindergarten curriculum to the Malaysian market at this launch today.
It is one which I am confident will exceed the demands of parents here and wish Pingu’s English Malaysia every success in the months and years ahead!”
Pingu’s English is already present in over twenty countries worldwide, including 35 schools and kindergartens across the ASEAN region in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam.
